2024 Gillen House Event Packages
Exchange vows in Georgia's picturesque countryside at The Gillen House Bed and Breakfast. Say "I do" under magnificent Magnolias, surrounded by beautiful flowers to match your wedding colors. The chirping birds and gentle breeze add to the romantic ambiance. After the heartfelt ceremony, enjoy a delightful reception on the grounds or wraparound porch. Gillen House offers a romantic and serene setting for creating lasting memories.
Wedding packages include the use of the first floor public areas of the house, (living, dining, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, hallways and porches), garden grounds and Maxeys City Limits Bar, as well as access to the Bride's Room and dressing area on the second floor. Excluded are owner’s quarters on the first floor, limited access to the second floor and large barn.
We offer 3 different package options to fit your dreams and your budget. We also offer customizable wedding package options to fit your unique desires.
Weekday Package: Monday - Thursday from 9:30am to 9:30pm
Weekend Package: Friday or Saturday from 11 am first day to 11 am following day, plus overnight accommodations in four suites for eight people, double occupancy for one night.
Entire Weekend Rental: Friday 11 am to 11 am Sunday, plus overnight accommodations in four suites for eight people, double occupancy for two nights.
Rent the property for birthdays, family gatherings, work parties, anniversaries, or any celebration you desire. You can choose to rent it for a full day during the week or on the weekend on an hourly basis, and we require a minimum of 4 hours.
Daily event packages include use of the first floor of the house, front porch and back patio plus the grounds, gardens and Maxeys City Limits Bar. Excluded areas are owner’s quarters on the first floor, the second floor of the house and large barn.
In order to hold a weekend date, a deposit is required and cannot be refunded after 14 days. After 14 days, a contract must be completed and signed to firmly reserve your dates.
Cancellation Policy: 90 days prior to the event, reservation deposit will be refunded minus a cancellation fee. If inside 90 days of the event, no refund can be provided.
Facility Cleaning fee
Tent rental is recommended for parties of 40 guests and over. In case of inclement weather, up to 40 guests can be accommodated on the front porch.
Event Insurance must be obtained prior to the event and proof of coverage is to be supplied. See vendor list.
A Day-of Coordinator is required for events over 40 guests.
